PRIVACY & YOUR CHOICES

A clear choice.

Who manages this website

The data controller is Massimiliano Vincentini, Via Santa Maria 102, Pisa, Italy. For privacy matters or to exercise your rights, contact collegioferdinando@gmail.com.

Direct booking requests

The booking service collects dates, party details and contact information needed to verify a proposal, manage your request and arrange a stay. Payment is distinct from a request and from registration in the booking system. Operational information is used to respond to your request and manage the booking. Further details are provided in the booking form’s privacy notice.

Optional website statistics

Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits, approximate geographical areas, traffic sources and interest in our accommodation and content. Reports use aggregate statistics; cookies can distinguish returning browsers. The service does not tell us the identity of website visitors. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalisation or automatic collection of form contents.

With your consent we also measure availability searches, selected proposals, requests actually received, registration and bookings with verified payment. A random identifier helps avoid duplicate counts; Analytics identifiers link these events to a visit. An amount is sent only when it has been verified as collected; a “paid” status alone does not produce estimated revenue. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages, stay dates, booking-system references and personal links are not sent to Analytics. Visits from guest guides and editorial tests may be distinguished without identifying the person.

Your choice comes first

Statistics are optional and based on consent. No Google Analytics tag loads before you accept. Refusing leaves the website usable. You can change your choice below or through “Statistics preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal stops subsequent tracking.

Cookies and retention

The technical consent preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies (_ga and the property-specific _ga_ cookie) are configured with a maximum lifetime of 180 days. Event and user-level data retention in Analytics is set to 14 months; aggregate reporting may have different retention. Requests received by email are retained for responding and managing the relationship, with legal retention duties applying to any resulting booking.

The technical link between consent, visit and request is stored separately from the booking system for up to 30 days, never beyond consent expiry. Withdrawal stops future sends and removes remaining server associations; it does not automatically delete events already sent to Google. The technical browser reference follows the consent duration.

Providers and external links

Google provides the Analytics platform. Details about its processing and international-transfer safeguards are available in Google’s data processing terms and privacy policy. Maps and other external services open only when you follow their links; their own policies then apply. The hosting provider processes technical requests needed to serve and protect the website.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of applicable data, and object where relevant. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
